We recognize that all our young patients are unique and deserve to receive dental care that reflects their individual needs. Our experienced and talented dental team is committed to working with you and your child to create a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding dental experience every time you visit our practice.
We are pleased to welcome you and your family, and we look forward to working with you.
I enjoy talking with and getting to know our patients. They always have something interesting to tell me about their school, their adventures, and their friends. Chatting with a child during their visit helps them relax and feel safe. That makes them more open to learning about their oral health and taking control of their smile. I assist patients while they’re here: seating them in the chair and telling them what the doctor will be doing. I support and encourage them, too.
I don’t have any children, but I have a puppy, Shampoo. I recently competed in the Arnold Strongman Classic Competion. I hope to become certified to be a personal trainer or work with kids to help them stay fit and healthy.
I enjoy spending my day surrounded by kids and listening to their stories and laughter. Everyone on our team works hard to make sure our environment is fun, supportive, and safe. Our patients tell us they like coming to see us; I definitely look forward to seeing them! I help our patients during visits. I seat them in the chair, prepare them to see the doctor, and explain what’s going to happen. Then I work chairside, to support the doctor and our patient.
I have a wonderful husband. We are new parents to our son Dexter Lindan born in March. We already have two Dobermans. My husband and I love the great Alaskan outdoors!
I’m so excited to be a part of the Pediatric Dental Associates’ team! As one of our dental assistants, I explain to the children what is going to happen during their appointment, and do my best to keep them calm and happy. Kids have a lot of fun in our office, and I love it when they tell me stories and make me laugh. Everyone here is so encouraging and quick to share smiles whenever they’re needed!
I recently moved to Alaska from California, but I’m originally from Mexico. I like to go hiking, meet new people, and travel, but I also like to relax at home by watching TV and hanging out with my two dogs, Gauddie and Kusko.
I enjoy helping patients learn how to be in control of their own dental health. Establishing healthy habits and routines, early in life, means healthier smiles for the long term! I really like listening to patients when they’re telling me about school and their activities. I take X-rays, clean patients’ teeth, and offer a lot of dental education. I want patients and their parents to learn the right way to keep their smiles healthy and looking wonderful.
I enjoy talking with our young patients. They are so honest … and you never know what they will say next! The rest of the team and I make sure every dental visit is a positive experience. We want to teach children that seeing the dentist is a good thing and nothing to worry about. I provide gentle, thorough cleanings to patients. While I’m doing so, I talk with the child about the mouth. I encourage everyone to develop good habits and keep their smile healthy.
I moved to Alaska from Carthage, NC, with my husband Kyler and three kids: Lucius, Addison, and Kiyah. I enjoy camping, canoeing, fishing, and hunting.
I enjoy interacting with children, hearing their stories, and seeing their smiles. I also like meeting new patients and their families. I greet everyone as they arrive, check them in, and update their paperwork. At the end of a visit, I check them out and make sure they’ve had a great time while here. I also schedule treatments and recall appointments. It’s fun to work in such a positive, friendly environment, and be around happy people all day.
My husband and I share our lives with our dog. I’m a military spouse and my husband has been serving our country for four years. We are both new to Alaska and love it here.
Patient Care Coordinator
I am the very first person to greet our patients and their parents as they come in. I love that one-on-one interaction, and getting to know the kiddos on a personal level. I think it goes a long way to help them feel safe here. I am the one to reassure each patient that everything will be okay, that they can trust us and be comfortable. Just seeing the smiles as each one checks in makes my day!
I am a mother of nine children, Teuila, Tiloi, Taeao, Tuitasi, Sa, Tausala, Charlyee-Me, Frank, and baby Raymond. My husband CJ and I moved here from Laie, Hawaii one year ago and love it. In my free time, I love to cook and entertain family and friends.
I love my coworkers. They are helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. We are truly a team and that makes the dental experience great for our patients. There’s a lot of laughter in our office, as we trade jokes with patients and share stories about our lives. I verify patient insurance, scan and file documents, and pull patient information. I’m here to help and love doing so.
I’m currently a high school senior. I participate in girls’ soccer and flag football. I play the violin, too. I’m a member of many academic clubs and volunteer through them. I have two dogs and one guinea pig. In my free time I love to read.
My biggest goal is to ensure that each patient receives the best care from the first time they contact our office to the day they have graduated to a general dentist. This includes managing the staff, schedule, and the office as a whole. Working in dentistry comes very naturally to me—with a dentist for a father, my experience in dental offices began at a young age. He taught me so many things, but mostly, he showed me how important is was to treat people with compassion and kindness.
I came to Alaska in 1982 looking for adventure. My husband John and I have made Eagle River our home for the last 30 years. We have three children, three beautiful granddaughters and another one on the way. Our daughter and son live in Wasilla and another son in the Navy. I love living in Alaska and all it has to offer, especially the hiking and fishing. I also enjoy cooking, baking, and gardening in the summer.
